Erectile dysfunction medications took in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of Health officials during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently impotence medications by means of the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is important that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
“These kinds of items being offered, normally online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
“You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health.”
