Full job description
Successful candidate must be able to plan and provide rehabilitative services in Martinsville/Henry County for individuals with serious mental illness. Duties include developing treatment plans, providing individual and group instruction, and completing required supportive documentation. A Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with one-year experience working with the seriously mentally ill population is required or qualifies as QMHP according to Virginia Board of Counseling guidelines. A Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it relates to the position.
Required Education & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with one-year experience working with the seriously mentally ill population is required or qualifies as QMHP according to Virginia Board of Counseling guidelines.
- A Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Virginia QMHP-A/C License (Preferred)
